Connections

With so many people present at the airshow capturing people as they connected with each other and their environment was both easy and enjoyable.

The three women and small girl walking toward the aircraft is my favorite, although the young family runs a close second. I think the photo of the young family would be much better if I took out the two distractions in the upper left corner. What do you think? Which photo do you like best?

Random Photos

Before another week gets away from me I figured it would be nice to start this week by sharing a few random photos that have been sitting patiently waiting to be shared. They are nothing real special just some shots that I really liked even though they aren't all that good technically.

Can you tell she is grudgingly accommodating her click happy mom?
Do rest stops in other parts of the country have wayside chapels?
 Two of my princesses.
I thought about saving this for a Weekend Reflection shot but I really like the street vibe more than the reflection.
What is a set of random photos without some happy little critters?
Have a Wonderful Week!

Grand Canyon Views

I hope you have enjoyed these photos nearly as much as I enjoyed capturing them. May each of you have a wonderful holiday season and a blessed new year. Many of these scenic photographs are available on calendars and prints in my on line gift shop.

Smile Your On Candid Camera

Here are a few candid street photography shots from last week.

This last shot is my favorite. It was one of three shots taken while we were driving down the street. I could hear the motorcycle but could not see it at first. I took the first shot with just the lens outside the car pointing backwards. Then as they pulled up I snapped this one just as the driver was raising his hand to give me a peace sign. Then as they sped away I snapped a third shot.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday: On A Winter's Walk

And the hunt is on!

My submissions:

Stand Alone: (Saun's suggestion)

Rusty or Something Old: (Saun's suggestion)
Going for a shot of the stairs going into the OLD building I realized I could capture both RUSTY and OLD for the hand rail was rather rusty.

Artificial (Terrie's suggestion)
Walking around down town I saw many things that were artificial, mainly flowers and such in the store windows but nothing really jumped out and said Photograph Me. So I decided to take a photo of an artificial object that make a major difference in so many peoples lives. This one happens to belong to my husband.

Repeating Pattern: (Terrie's suggestion)
There were of course lots of repeating patterns in the old buildings along my walk. Although I did take photos of a number of them this brick pattern spoke louder than any of the rest. ;)

I hope you have enjoyed my finds, now please click on the button above and head over to check out what others have found for Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
