There was so much to see in Washington DC, I almost felt like a bobble head on a taxi cabs' dashboard. With less than two days to tour the city I am surprised I saw as much as I did. Today I would like to share some of my favorites of The Washington Monument.

Although the forecast called for 50% rain and scattered T' storms, other than a few sprinkles it turned out to be a beautiful day. Looking at the cloud formation in the last three pictures you can get a little bit of an idea how long it took us to walk to the base of the monument
