Home Free
I had the opportunity last week to go see one of my favorite groups perform. If you enjoy a cappella and country music and haven't heard Home Free I recommend watching some of their videos. I took my small canon powershot with me but was so caught up in the show that it stayed in my purse the whole time. I did take a few photos with my cell phone.
I do believe I am in love with Tim (the bass singer). LOL
Although it should be illegal to have a voice like that and be good looking and crazy enough to pull off his outfit for their final number.
What do you think, would you wear feety pajamas in public?

Cold Water
Last month I shared some photos of a fun little critter playing in the lake at this very spot. I went back the other day hoping to find him out and about.
The lake was frozen over as I expected, but I couldn't see anywhere for the little guys to enter or exit their underwater home. I did manage to see one a small muskrat near the lakes overflow drain but he was too fast for me to get a good shot of him.
Even though it was pretty chilly, it was a nice day though for a walk around the lake. My grandson decided it is much easier to skip rocks on a frozen lake than it is when the water is not frozen....LOL.
Now for one with a little color. This is the west bank of the Missouri River at Chamberlain.
Have a Wonderful Day!

Dramatic South Dakota Skies
I am pulling from my archives for today's Friday Skywatch photos.
October Sky
I can never resist a game of hide and seek with the sun. |
November Skies
I loved how the ranch and hills were all aglow with the late afternoon sun coming from the clearer skies to the southwest but the storm clouds filled the sky to the north and northwest.
This photo was taken only a few minutes after the photo above but the road had turned slightly to the north and the photo is facing more easterly.
Have a Wonderful Weekend!

Feeling Powerful
How sweet a shadow can grace even the smallest of creatures with a powerful silhouette!
I do wish there had been something in the frame to offer a bit of size comparison. This tiny little guy's shadow was about the size of a dime.
Linking up with Shadow Shot Sunday.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Playing With a Dolphin
My ten year old granddaughter wanted to practice with her camera the other day so I suggested she grab a few figurines and we head out side to find places to pose them.
Here is what we came up with
Someone had dropped a fuzzy blue scarf which we thought was perfect for photos of her small pink dolphin.
I decided to play around a bit with the two dolphin shots.
Then I saw the drain spout and decided to snap a reflection shot with the dolphin.

When boredom strikes I often find myself photographing silly things, how about you, do you ever photography silly things?
