Yesterday morning as we headed out early to run a few errands the air didn't feel all that cold but the car windshield was completely iced over.
Sitting in the car waiting for the windshield to defrost I couldn't resist capturing a few abstract and macro shots.
Frozen Heart
Changing focus; above focus on the defrosting windshield, below focus on the tree.
Above I was drawn to the water droplets and variations in color. Then I noticed the tiny reflection of the tree in a number of the droplets so I got in closer for this macro.

When my daughter stepped out to clear the ice off the windshield wipers I just had to go for this abstract silhouette.

Love your frosty portrait... I'm so glad you came by to share on Weekly Top Shot #66!
that's a fun way to pass the time as the window defrosts! nice captures!
Nice colors. I like them.
love the 3rd one down - and the big water droplet ones. :)
You made great use of your time. A frozen heart - how symbolic. There's a sad story attached to that picture.
