I had a lot of fun figuring out what to do for this weeks Scavenger Hunt Sunday prompts. I hope you enjoy these at least half as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Just thought I would share what is at this time of year the most common of all street scenes in the upper Midwest.
From A Distance:
I took this shot of the Washington Monument and the Capitol Building as seen from the Lincoln Memorial last month while I was visiting my niece in DC.
Sunday is my day to unwind and relax.
My husband thought I was nuts when he saw me run and grab my camera in the middle of making supper. But how could I pass up this fun interpretation of liquid.
If you haven't guessed by now I am a bit eccentric. I don't generally do self portraits but this weeks prompts really worked well for both self portraits. At first I thought, okay so what shall I take a picture of from behind. That of course brought a dumb joke to mind and I almost headed to the football field to take a photo of the bleachers from behind. Then it dawned on me I should take one of myself, I am always behind. If it wasn't for my cell phone and computer with their little alarms, I would never do anything on time. Of course the best place for such a shot would have to be Adhler's clock shop.
Have a fantastic week everyone!
